"I'm serious," Susan replied in a forced calm voice.
"Your parents actually invited him to stay?" Her fiance shook his head in disbelief. "Didn?t you tell them what kind of man he is?"
"What could I tell them? That he pays me outrageous compliments? That he flirts with me? They would have laughed and invited him anyway. They like him." The impatience she felt toward the whole mess made her voice sharp. "So what would you have me do, Warren - move out?"
Warren looked grim. "I have a feeling there's going to be trouble," he muttered.
