This is the novelization of DC's Infinite Crisis storyline. Yet another Crisis storyline that kills off some heroes and villains that might or might not return again, and reforms the DC universe. In this story Alexander Luthor, Superboy Prime and Superman II from alternate versions of Earth come together to try and to recreate Earth II in order to save Lois Lane who is from Earth II. Lois is dying and they feel she will live if she is returned to her own reality. Meanwhile Brother EYE and the OMACS are joining in the fun by attacking all the heroes of the current Earth. The Spectre is also on a killing rampage, destroying all magical based/using people. Throw in a big rift between the Big 3 in DC (Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman). Batman doesn't trust anyone, he creates Brother Eye, a satellite to help him police the heroes of the world. But the satellite has gone rogue and is now hunting down the heroes. Wonder Woman isn't trusted after killing Maxwell Lord. And Superman is disappointed in both of them. I never read the actual comics but the story presented in this novel was very well done. I couldn't put it down after getting halfway through it.
