My DH has a package that he wants me to get a label w/ postage for a package that he needs to return to sender.  It isn't a book.  so I need to buy first class mail.  what and where do I go?  I wish I could do this through PBS and pay them a little of the money.  I'm not very computer literate - so I hope it isn't too hard.  Thanks in advance for any help and info!

It didn't work out so well - check my last post!

Do you have a paypal account? You can click-and-ship (pay for postage) there.

https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ship-now

If it's over 13 oz, it's Priority Mail, and you can print a label from the USPS: https://sss-web.usps.com/cns/landing.do

Thank you so much.  DH has a PayPal account - so I'll give him this info.  It will help a lot because if it is something that requires dealing with clerks, lines, and "stupid" rules  - I'm the one he looks to to get it done!  He has no patience.  But I really didn't want to take on his mailing stuff when I have my own to do.  That's why I always use PBS postage and DC so all he has to do is dump it in the big blue box!  I can't get out and around - so I have to depend on him doing it.  If he had to deal with the PO for it, I wouldn't be a member here!  ;D

thanks again.

Dappledart - I tried going to PayPal and can't find a way to do this.  I've only bought and used PayPal for payments and not to sell.  So I can't find any way to print a label with postage there!  Help!

If you click on the link I provided, it should take you to a page to log in to your paypal account. After you do, it should take you to the "create a shipping label" page.

On your "my account" page, in the yellow horizontal bar, there's a "custom DC label" link that allows you to print a label, choose first class or media mail.  You can't use PBS postage there yet.

Success!!!  Thank you all!  What an ordeal.  The only link that ended up working was dappledart's and only when I used Internet Explorer - which I never use anymore.  Nothing at all but "paying" came up for Firefox.  No links.  No yellow horizontal bar with a custom DC label link.  Don't know why that is.  But at last it is printed!  This was to return a package DH bought elsewhere.  I only use PBS postage and DC for PBS.  This got to be very frustrating until I used Explorer.  Thanks again.  You don't know how much I appreciate it!

FYI - For future reference, you can print any denomination of postage on PBS.  Under "My Account" at the top of your page, if you scroll down the options you will see "Custom DC."  You can print whatever you want there.  PBS will take their normal fee.  I've used it a few times when Paypal shipping was not loading and I needed to get a First Class Mail piece out quick with Deliv. Confirmation.

Oops...I now see a previous poster already mentioned this.
