If you do any handwork at all, like the binding on a quilt, this little project is wonderful.  It is a thread keeper for all those little bits you clip off.  It makes a small triangular cup that you can drop those little bits into instead of getting them all over the floor.  It is so easy, I made four of them in an hour.  You take two equilateral triangles with 9 1/2 inch sides, sew right sides together, turn and topstitch.  Then you fold the points to get a sewing line and zip the edges together.  Fold down the points and secure with a button.

Here is the link for the instructions with pictures.

Easy, fun to make and can be embellished any way you want.  I used buttons on two of them, and on one I used ribbon roses.  I also made one bigger in Christmas colors with Christmas themed buttons.  These worked up so fast!  Great idea for scraps.

Anyone else have an insanely easy scrap project to share?
