Wow! What we've beden told, what we'ved been practicing, AND the whole heresy of our treatment of criminals is exposed here. What if what we've been doing has only made them worse, and made our society worse? And consider the billions wasted, the lives shattered and lost. Perhaps we've been snookered by the weeping and wailing advocates of "they can't help themselves." (Think again!)

I think that we HAVE been snookered, just upon reading the first few pages of this book. Can't wait to finish it and go on to Samenow's other books, especially "BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE." Let's hope it isn't.
