A quick read written in a personal tone as a little pamphlet & guidebook for the American serivceman of World War II. The author's writing includes historical info. and cultural snapshots of France's role during World War II. The book reads like a tourist guide of Paris at the end; as well of the provinces, leaving an air of better days to come in the future. A nice, quick read.
