I picked this NF book up at the library over the weekend and it's a really, really interesting read. I'm only through the first part, but already know it's recommend-worthy.

Mysterious Celtic Mythology in American Folklore by Bob Curran. It looks like there's 1 wisher for it, so hurry and get on the list! :)

I'm terrible at reviews, so bear with me. But the book is divided up into several parts, each containing a handful of stories from American folklore. The stories give background of how the Celtic legends/myths began, and then they explain how they were brought over and adapted into myths and legends here in America. It's actually really cool and contains a lot of interesting history. And I'm loving the bits and pieces of the Irish and Celtic background info because a lot of it is familiar from some of my recent HF reads.

It's written well, and although it's non-fic, it doesn't read much like it. I thought my HF buds might enjoy it.

edited to fix link!
