Wow!! This book read like a combination of "Jewel of the Nile" and an Indiana Jones flik. Wham! Bam! Thank you, Ms. Fetzer! This is one of the best books that I've read in a looooonnngg time. I could NOT put it down - read it in one sitting. Great, engaging characters - and there's a lot of them, so pay attention. The plot was super interesting; it kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. The action was nonstop, the mystery fascinating. You HAVE to read this book.

This is her best book yet! Clancy McRae is mad as hell. Charged with creating technology-enhanced troops, she's discovered her top secret nano-device has been surgically implanted in 4 US Marines without her approval. In its untested stage it can kill them. Now she's stolen classified data and risking her life to go after them.
Spec Ops leader Mike Gannon learns his team has dropped into the jungles of Peru without his knowledge and have now disappeared. Injured or dead - its his duty to bring them back home. But when a scrappy red haired beauty butts into his rescue mission, insisting the government has turned his men into lab rats, Mike doesn't believe her - til she becomes a moving target herself.
