I have a couple books that are introductory copies. The lady at a local book store said to get them "checked out". Now my question is where would i find out more info on these types of books?

thanks

Do you mean Advanced Copies?

An Introductory copy sounds like book number one in a series of many books.

I dunno.......anyone else heard of this?

What is the book?

First editions of books can be worth money.

If you are talking about advance copies of books, they are distributed free and not allowed to be traded here on PBS.

Sometimes publishers/bookstore chains put out a special, low-price edition of a book or part of a book or sections from several books, hoping to get readers interested in the author(s). IMHO the worst was one that was the first half of the first or second of the Robert Jordan book), of which they never issued the other half separately, so if you liked it, you still had to pay full price to read the rest - that was before PBS.
