I hate to give a book a 1 but Cook tries to earn it here. Maybe he should leave science fiction to the guys that are good at it. If you want to get on a soapbox about helping the environment then don't do it in the guise of space alien virus that mutates people toward green living. It was poorly written, poor premise, and absurd ending.

Again I enjoy all his books, basically because he is/was a true MD doctor and thus his stories and research are probably more true then fiction so very scary! I also saw the movie and was good but not as good as book was!

This was a weird one. Robin Cook makes a foray into science fiction territory with this story of how ordinary people are turned into human/alien hybrid zombies - obsessed, no less, with improving the environment. The story was pretty out there, but I have to say it was at least somewhat entertaining.

A change of pace for Cook who pulls out all the stops in this heart-racing account of people being taken over by mysterious beings without even realizing it. I couldn't stop reading!
