Hi my fellow mystery lovers! Just thought that I would toss this out to you. Some of you may have guessed that even though I LOVE my mysteries, I also have a fondness for HF. Well the best thing of all, I'm beginning to think is historical mystery -well, ONE of the best things. Anyway, one of the HF members is starting a read-along on June 1st and the book is Veil of Lies by Jeri Westerson. I have read all three of Westerson's books and I think that they are superb. This title is the first book in the series, so, If you love historical mysteries or if you've thought about them and never tried them, this is a great opportunity to give it a whirl.

Keep an eye out (or I can remind you) if you are interested. Just wander on over there and see what you think (They can be a little whacko, but they don't bite - I promise!) wink

Thanks for posting this Jeanne, as a special treat, I had permission to invite Jeri Westerson to discuss the book and to answer questions.   She has graciously accepted the invitation.

The read along will start on June first and the actual discussion with JW will be on or around the 15th.  As we get near the date I will nail down a firm date and time.  So please anyone that is interested please join in.  If you've already read this you more than welcome to join in the discussion.

Also I will be interviewing JW for the PBS blog as a lead-in to the read along.

This sounds like fun.

I've never read her, so it will be a wonderful introduction.

That's great Kim at the risk of tooting my own horn.  I did an interview with Jeri Westerson at the PBS blog, she is very interesting.  http://blog.paperbackswap.com/interview-with-author-jeri-westerson/2011/03/
