I started this book yesterday. I looked and it's the first book in the series but I feel like I just got dropped into the middle of something. The references back to explain things are vague.

Did anyone else read this and feel the same? It's interesting so far but I'm kinda lost. LOL

From what I under stand the beginning of this series is in an anthology called Wild ThingI 've been told not to even attempt to read the book until you read the short in Wild Thing.

Oh wow that is probably why I really didn't like this book much at all. It was very confusing and difficult to slog through. Maybe if I had known there was a prequel I would have done much better...

The prequel doesn't make much sense either, IMO. I didn't like it, so I never got the iron hunt

Well at least I'm not going crazy.  I thought for sure there had to have been something earlier cause this is really confusing.
