This is 9th Butch Karp novel and Butch and Marlene seemingly are doing very different and unrelated jobs, in completely opposing ways yet at the end we are rewarded with a plausible tie-in. Tanenbaum keeps Butch and Marlene's relationship fresh, while expanding their family. The character of Mr. Tranh is another great addition to the cast of the series. I would recommend, if you have not read any of this series, you start at the beginning.
