I really, really enjoyed this book. I almost forgot it was just a collection of short stories, because each one was so well written I was drawn up inside the world and held there tightly until the end. My favorite was very possibly one involving a nanny, a rich man, and a young, slightly mad boy. Oh, I can't do it justice. Do yourself a favor and find a copy.
