I really enjoyed this book. It took characters from the '60's tv show, HERE COME THE BRIDES and incorporated them into the STAR TREK universe. One of the actors on that show was Mark Lenard who played Spock's father. It is a clever plot and a quick read. Recommend it highly.

Call me crazy, but I think this is my favorite of all the many Star Trek novels. It's a cross with the 60's TV show Here Come the Brides, and if you have to ask, you probably wouldn't get it. But for me it works, a well-written, poignant story that makes me smile too, and that showcases the characters that made Star Trek endure.

What cosmic phenomenon causes a Klingon ship to suddenly vanish - with Spock aboard for the ride?
