This book is a very period 1984 book, by this I mean This is a D&D Just beginning period Type book. This book expects you to roll up a character, fill in the blank character sheet and play your way thru the story. You'll need a pencil paper and dice to read/play this particular story to its conclusion, and Beware you may Die before its over.
Never Fear you can roll up another character, and try another path thru this book. I grew up during this time, and played many a book like this one. this book is 1 in a series of ten books like this one so if you enjoy it turn to the back cover and search out the other six books.
The Warlock of Fire Mountain, The Citadel of Chaos, the forest of doom. Starship Traveler, City of Thieves, Deathtrap Dungeon, the Island of the lizard king is the seventh book and best one in the series.
