Hi!  I have had this happen twice in the last month. A book reaches number one on the WL and then it disappears. I am not offered the book, it simply vanishes from my WL. today I noticed that "The Fabric of America" is missing and last week "The Collection" by Teri Gerritsen went missing.

I would like both of those books and want to know what is going on. thanks.

Are you sure you didn't click the +Reminder button? This will move them from your wish list to your reminder list.

I actually did nothing to them. They had both just moved up to #1 and then disappeared.

I'm guessing that you received an offer for each of the books, and that the offers timed out and the books were moved to your RL.

Susan, check your "Club Communications" link on your account tab. If they were offered to you, you'll see copies of the e-mail in your communications list. Also check to see when the books were placed on your reminder list (I'm assuming that they're now on your RL).

If those e-mails are in the club communications archive, but you didn't get them, it's likely that your e-mail provider tagged the message as spam and put those messages into your spam filter. Check your spam filter and find them and mark them "Not Spam" so that you will receive them. You can also add the PBS Librarian e-mail address to your address book (usually addresses in your address book automatcally go to your inbox).

If there are no club communications there, you should contact PBS using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. Give them as much information as you can and work with them to determine what happened.

Well, Jane, that was a good thought.  I am online for most of each day, as i am an online seller. Never got an e-mail for these books. Will write for help. Thanks.

Were they on auto-request?  Check your Enroute to Me tab.  I put my shelf on hold and put a couple audio cds on auto request.  One was in the mail on it's way to me before I even notice it and I'm on here everyday.  Also check your email options.  Do you have it set to notify you when a WL offer has come?  Although I'm not sure this is one that you can turn off or not.  Just a suggestion.

The Tess Gerritsen book was renamed to The Keepsake. Here is the PBS link.

Check your WL under that title. it should still be there. I know mine was after the name change. It's not due to come out until 8/26/08.
