J.A. Jance writes series about several people, as well as some stand along thrillers. The one you have is the Joanna Brady series. I recommend reading the Beaumont series in order if you can, but think it's far less important regarding the Brady series.

Amber, if you go the this site: http://www.stopyourekillingme.com you will find all of Jance's  books in publication order.  Hope this helps!

Okay, why is that URL not posting as a link?  What did I do wrong?

I'd recommend reading at least the first Brady book if you can (won't say more), the rest of the series are o.k. for out of order.

And yes, the Beaumonts should be read in order if possible - he's such an interesting, complex character and it's fascinating to see how things move on for him.

LeeAnne: try dropping the / at the end of the url; that might work better. It's one of my favorite sites, a monster amount of information there.

ETA: tried the URL with and without the / and they both worked fine.

Hmmm.  It used to be that when I typed in (or cut and pasted) a complete URL, the hamsters on the site would automatically link it and replace the URL with the word link.  That doesn't seem to be the case anymore.  I wonder why.  I just noticed that on other threads, all of the links are now unlinked URLs.

Weird.

LeeAnne always beats me to posting the link to Stop You're Killing Me.  I LOVE that site!

I've read all of J.A. Jance's books.  I thoroughly enjoy them.  IMO, the books are best read in order.  The website LeeAnne mentioned lists them in order.

Enjoy!

I'm reading my first Jance book, Web of Evil and really like it, but it's #2 in the series so I ordered the first one and will start that one after I'm done with this one.

Will have to check out Kay Hooper... :)
