Jim Lewis (5 June 1941 - February 21, 1995) was the developer of modern Astro*Carto*Graphy. For his work in this field, he received the Marc Edmund Jones award in 1978, and the Regulus Award for Discovery, Innovation, and Research at the United Astrology Congress in 1992.
Locational astrology is an old concept, but Lewis developed and expanded the field, using detailed maps and modern software. He trademarked the term Astro*Carto*Graphy, registration of which is still maintained by the Astro*Carto*Graphy Living Trust (US Serial No: 75667982, searchable through TESS)
