I'm in the middle of Kessler's short story, "Hell Is Where the Heart Is" in the Red Hot Valentine's Day anthology. I really like her writing style, the type of humor she uses and the back-and-forth between Jezebel and Daunuan. Anybody have an opinion on the Hell on Earth series as a whole? I understand this is a novella to that series. The concept intrigues me, but.....and this might sound silly.......I like my demons to have some redeeming qualities in my paranormal fiction, otherwise, I feel guilty reading about them, lol. Any thought on this series? |

I've only read the first one, the rest are on TBR. I liked the first one so I don't know why the other two are languishing on tbr lol But with that said, I don't remember the demons in the book. But I, personally, like to read about bad or good demons so it's not something that is off-putting to me :) |

I liked the first one -- I added the next ones to my wl, but haven't seen them come up yet. |

I also just finished reading the first one and really liked it. It was a different take on demons then some of the other PR books I have read, which was a nice change. I have the others on my WL, but they are moving pretty slowly. |
