An interesting book that puts forth the idea of the AmaZon Women and their village how they would have survived for generations. But when Daniel is captured by them he finds Vanessa as his interpretter. Each sees something in the other and Daniel convinces her to help him escape and then return to England with him. She does and she struggles to learn of London society while Daniel becomes too involved with his "discovery" and stops seeing her as a woman but as a way to advance his career. Finally she escapes and has to decide to either stay in England or go home to the Amazon.
Very enjoyable read.
THIS IS A SHAPE-SHIFTER BOOK. AND I DID ENJOY READING IT. I COULD HARDLY PUT IT DOWN AFTER I GOT INTO IT.
