In this one, her father lives and allows Cinderella to be keeper of her step-sisters and step-mother's whims. She does nothing for herself and is turned into an unrecognizable beauty with the help of a fairy godmother who sticks around post wedding to keep things "harmonious" with her step-family after she moves them into her in-law's home.
