I'm not used to seeing an author's name spelled two different ways, but Janet Laurence / Lawrence is the exception.   The spellings are appearing on the book covers.

Laurence / Lawrence wrote a fascinating series of culinary mysteries.   I have the first one, A Deepe Coffyn, on my bookshelf.

A Deepe Coffyn is about a murder during the meeting of The Society of Historical Gastronomes.  The descriptions of the food and its preparation make this a unique story I couldn't put down.   The title of the book has an interesting meaning that you will discover.

There are 5 people interested in the title but they have selected another ISBN with the name spelled differently.  I'm not sure if they were notified in this case since the author's name was slightly different.

If you're interested, please take a look at my bookshelf.
