From Book: The Japanese came to America from 1970 to 1910 to escape tyranny, poverty, and civil war in their homeland and met bigotry in the USA...However, their courageous spirit triumphed and today we recognize and fully appreciate their many contributions to our culture.

I say: Very well presented with good black and white illustrations. Pub. in 1970 so the history only goes that far. But since it is a history book that isn't really a drawback. Still a very useful and interesting book for today.
