"Enjoying pain with your pleasure is something you either get, or you don't. If you get it, then you don't really need it explained, because you know how good it feels, and if you don't get it then no amount of talking is going to convince you it makes sense." — But sometimes you have to explain the unexplainable, e...  more »

While the books in this series have been hit or miss, this book was awful. This book was just one big sex scene. There was no plot. One would think with at title of Jason, we would have learned of Jason's story, nope just multiple orgy scenes. No zombie raisings, no crime investigation, no character building. One more book like this and I will definitely stop reading this series.

There is nothing to spoil in this book. It is honestly just one big sex scene, while I was expecting a more hystorical story about how Jason became Jason. It's not. Sorry, not her best. I was unimpressed, disapointed, and well... I don't know if I will be getting her next book. :(

Love Laurell Hamilton and Jason is one of my favorite characters. It's great to get a bit more of his story and I hope that he and J.J. are very happy together.

This is one of the very few books that really has no violence, just lots of eroticism. It does set the stage for more intrigue with Jade, who was Anita's only female lover, so it will be interesting to see if Laurell is going to expand upon her character.

This was a quiet read, and I'm looking forward to reading Dead Ice next.
