I have a Wishlisted Jennifer Chiaverini series book, The Quilter's Legacy (0452284678 Book #5) which I will give for free if someone orders her other two books, The Cross Country Quilters 0452283086 and Round Robin 0452282276 off my bookshelf. These are books #2 and #3. I would like to mail all to one address to save postage, hence the offer of a wishlisted book. Be sure to order off MY bookshelf and not simply by clicking thru the book title elsewhere on this site or the request will not go to me. Debbie

Melanie, I asked a person in Live Help first before posting this offer and this is the reply I rec'd below. So I did check first and was going on what they said in good faith. If that good faith was a mistake, sorry, a private PM would have been much more appreciated. Debbie <<<<You can offer the WL book as an incentive to order the other 2. You might want to post in the genre forum that the books would be from also. Most of the forums have a topic for WL books. I don't think it's a problem. I see it all the time in both the book bazaar and the forums.>>> |

I am really, really shocked that someone from live help told you that. It has always been that the Book Bazaar rule on no offering WL offers stood unless it was a boxed set. I have never seen anyone allowed to offer a WL book as an incentive to get an order in the Bazaar. Most are directed to the genre forums where there are no rules disallowing it. If this is allowed now, wow, it will change the way the site runs completely. Sorry that you feel you would have preffered a private PM, I always post in a thread that violates rules that they are in violation so that other members who have not seen the Bazaar rules don't follow suit. This has made me curious enough that I am asking the site leaders if the rules in the BB have been changed and we can offer WL books as incentive to order from our shelves.
