Alice Chetwynd Ley is one of my new favorite Regency authors after reading this book. A truly ingenious plot full of surprises, along with true-to-life characters and a romance that you really care about. A little "mystery" thrown in and all in all a very satisfying and original Regency romance that still fulfills all the requirements of the genre. Highly recommended.
