This is a very interesting book. It shows jewelry from many different cultures and ages. Most of the jewelry is very old, the newest piece shown was from 1940ish. There are 400 photos & illustrations, more than half in color. The photos are beautiful and there are plenty of gemstones and gold to drool over. It is incredible to see the talent they had so long ago!

Everyone interested in OLD jewelry should get this book :)
