M., Worthy Master Adams in... more » the chair. Bro. Clark, Oregon, appeared in his seat, in addition to those heretofore present. On motion of Bro. Moore, the regular order of business was suspended to allow the report of a special committee to be made. Bro. Moore then presented the report of the special committee to select such parts of the journal as were to be expunged, and read the first section, as follows: "Brothers and Sisters: " Your committee have carefully examined the journal of the proceedings, and recommend that the following be expunged therefrom: " 1. That portion of the report of the Committee on Credentials commencing 'There seems to be a discrepancy' and ending 'referred to a committee for adjudication.' " 2. The motion of Bro. Mauger to adopt the report, and the motion of Bro. Ellis to recommit to the committee, and all proceedings incident thereto. "3. The motion of Bro. Ellis that the representatives of certain State Granges be allowed to participate in the discussion, and the decision of the Worthy Master. " 4. The resolution of Bro. Smedley for the appointment of a special committee of three to investigate the subject, and the amendment of Bro. Chase to increase to five members. "5. The announcement of the committee by the Worthy Master. " 6. The motion of Bro. Ellis that the Grange does not transact any business until the committee had reported. " 7. The explanation by Bro. James, Ind., of his position in the matter. " 8. The report of the special committee under Bro. Smedley's resolution, and all proceedings and discussions in relation thereto. " 9.
