This is a very good cookbook with lots of information about a lot of things every cook has questions about. I didn't like it as well as the first version (which is worn and ragged), but I use it as well.

This is a two volume cookbook. Vol 1: Main course meals; Vol 2: appetizers, desserts and baked goods. 1974 printings - edxcellent condition. An indispensable basic cookook of all time.
