I was reading along, wondering however this mess was going to be resolved when all of a sudden I was actually talking to my self...what??? wait a sec here... That can't be right???....
I actually had to go back and re-read several pages to make sure my mind wasn't playing tricks on me.
It has been a very long time since a whodunnit/thriller has caught me totally flat-footed, but this one did in a huge way.
I don't even remember the last time I was caught so off guard by a writer.
This book was a delight.

This is an excellent book about the spirit and fight of a young girl. It really was well written and very realistic. It is a mystery that actually kept me guessing until the very end.

This started out a little slowly for me, but then things really picked up around page 100. I didn't see the twist at the end coming and that's always a plus for me. Hate books that I get figured out before the end. Innovative and suspenseful.

In a quiet New York suburb, three days before Christmas, two little girls have disappered. It's calculated and chilling reminder of a crime that happened before, fifteen years ago to the day, when Dective Rouge Kendall's twin sister fell into the clutches of a sadistic predator_- and vanished. But if the crime was solved, if the killer was apprehended, then who is playing with a haunted man's unforgettable fears? It will take Kendall to the darked corners of his imagination- and into the heart of a private nightmare that has never been put to rest...
