I'm sorry but I have to say that's the risk you take when you give money to psychics. I don't really feel bad for her. It's not like she made what she thought was wise investments and it turned out to be a scam. She gave money to psychics. |

I agree Mary! I don't see where she was scammed. She chose to give her money to psychics. Not once in 20 years did she wake up and think "what the heck am I doing spending all this money on psychics". |

Agree-it's her own fault. However, I do feel bad-quite tragic really with the death of her young son a few years ago and now this.

Also, I guess she was having a hard time dealing with not being able to have another baby. Well she could have taken that $50mil and adopted a whole bunch of kids who needed good homes. It can take a long time to adopt and American caucasian baby. But she could have adopted older kids, kids from Africa or China lanquishing in orphanages. She could more than afford the fees for that. She could have paid for surrogates. I don't really see how a psychic could have helped her conceive another child. |

This isn't any different than prsoperity gospel type preachers who teach people in massive stadiums that if they provide "seed money" to the "church" then God will reward them. It's not my idea of earning a living but there's a sucker born every minute I guess. |

I think it is very sad. People who are wounded and vulnerable need someone to trust, and through their pain they may not be the best judge of character. It's true she was far too trusting and placed her trust in the wrong people, but these psychics who prey on the weak and vulnerable are the ones who should be criticized. I agree there were better uses for her money- grief therapy, for one thing. |
