Grrrr! So frustrating. I've been expecting a book with a bright yellow cover. I received a book today with a bright yellow cover. Hooray!! But not so fast. As I was checking it in as received on my account, I realized that I had the wrong book! The sender was the same but the book was wrong. I tried to back out but the system already accepted the transaction. :( I've PMd the sender. I hope she is gracious enough to send the correct book or send back my credit. |

Hooray! The sender of my book is a true angel and a fine example of a PBS member! She has already responded and things are being sorted. Still. Seriously. Check out those books! Just because the cover is yellow, doen't mean it's the book you ordered!! LOL! (I feel kinda silly. I'll be checking books more closely from now on.) |

Actually, the cover being similar is even more reason it may be the wrong book. Think about it, if you and the sender both think something like 'oh, that book has a yellow cover', is it really so hard to picture a sender grabbing a book with a yellow cover and sending it, thinking it's the correct one? I'm glad you have a good PBS member on the other end of your transaction. It's people like that who make this club worth belonging to. I also had a wrong book issue yesterday, and had a great PBS member on the other end who immediately apologized and refunded my credit, without fuss or mess.
