Trapido writes beautiful prose. This book was a treat for me because it was so refreshing to read a well-written story. Trapido writes elegant, yet concise, descriptions that put an instant and accurate picture in my mind.

The book follows many characters but is mostly about Christina. Trapido did such a fantastic job of describing Christina's teenage rebellious personality that it brought back forgotten memories and feelings from my own teenage years. That's what good writing should do!
