A fun, quick read about Julia Child and her many feline pets, the cat, or le chat (French) for cat. The book tells much about Childs life, from the marriage to her husband, Paul. Childs and Paul live in the U.S., Paris, Provence, and return to California. The book tells about Childs rise to the cuisine-cooking world. A great, fun read.

This book is covered with photos of Julia, her cats and her home and gardens. This is a gift copy! Julia and Paul Child's life was constantly interwoven with their beloved cats. Every home had their or borrowed cats. The Child's were prolific cat lovers.Their cats participated in every aspect of their lives. This is a wonderfully descriptive book of the Child's homes, friends and lives.
