I'm reading Till Next We Meet - my first KR novel and I'm thoroughly impressed. Can't remember who here recommended her but I'm loving it. Any other KR fans? Which of her's do you like and why?

I liked Autumn in Scotland a lot,  but most others didn't.  There are some funny characters in it, and the Hero is an interesting one.  Not a typical alpha male and he is posing as someone else for most of the book.

I also like the five book series, The Highland Lords.  The fourth book, To Love a Scottish Lord was my favorite.  Both the Hero and Heroine were very interesting characters with fascinating life stories.  The ending was very satisfying and unexpected.

Till Next We Meet is one of the few books on my keeper's shelf. I absolutely loved it!

I have After The Kiss on my TBR...maybe I'll pick it up soon! :)

My first Karen Ranney book was Autumn in Scotland and I just couldn't get into it. I knew a lot of people liked her so I tried reading Till Next We Meet and I absolutely loved that book - it's on my reminder list as a book I want to get one of these days for my keeper shelf. I've also read To Love a Scottish Lord which I also enjoyed  (I plan on reading the other books in that series one of these days). I have several of her books in my TBR pile.

So far I've read the Highland Lords series.  I liked the first 4 with the 4th (To Love a Scottish Lord) best.  However, I could not finish the last one, So in Love.  For some reason I had no patience for the plot.  Perhaps, later I will give her others a try.

B+, IMO.  The heroine is a bit of a pill, but she develops nicely, and the hero is rather cool.  It has some great, spicy love scenes.  Nice gothic feel to it too.  I really enjoyed it.  Think I kept a copy, but I'm too tired to dig through that drawer & check:P
