I'm reading "Sparkle Life" right now... and I can't keep track of the characters!!! :-) There are 3-4 main character ladies. I seriously can't keep track of who is who... and I'm a smart chick too. There are also about 5-6 peripheral guys floating around them. I seriously find myself pulling back and thinking, "Who? Oh, SHE is dating HIM and he is HER brother and HER therapist" (because they're all tied together). I thought this would be a light Hollywood chick lit type book, but it's really not so much. The title - I'm about 2/3 done - also only references a very minimal portion of the book. I'm lost!!! |

Oh, I've read books like that and it's frustrating as can be! Is it kinda like "Love Actually", where there are 5 different stories all tied together? |

I can't stand books like that. I usually just stop reading them when that happens. |

I hate books like that too. I don't usually finish them. Is there really a need for that many characters? |

Yeah-it totally takes away from the book if there are too many characters or just random ones that pop up along teh way. Stacy |
