This first book in te Brides of LeHigh Canal grabbed my attention from teh first and didn't let go. Whle it is not a thick book it is still unusal for me to finish a book in two days. A fanatastic Christian Fiction book.

I liked hearing about the history of the Canal workers. It was a fast read which I would consider a christian chic novel.

Very good book! Kelly was a sweet girl living a hard life on the canals, but wanted something better. She finds hope through her art and a kind storekeeper.
