One of Ken Purdy's short stories, "Change of Plan", first published in the Atlantic Monthly in 1952, has appeared in a dozen anthologies here and abroad, beginning with "The Best American Short Stories of 1953". He has contributed more articles and short stories to Playboy - a total of 75 - than anyone else and is a three-time winner of the annual Playboy Award for the best short story or article of the year.« less
