Keston Sutherland (b. 1976) is a British poet and lecturer at the University of Sussex. He completed a BA at Cambridge University in 1997 before becoming the Joseph Hodges Choate Fellow at Harvard University. He followed this with a PhD, titled 'J. H. Prynne and philology', also at Cambridge.
He is the editor of the poetics and critical theory journal QUID and co-editor (with Andrea Brady) of Barque Press which publishes his own work as well as, among others, J. H. Prynne. His poetry has been compared to J. H. Prynne, John Wilkinson, and Drew Milne. His work has received international recognition: his major 2007 poem Hot White Andy was first published in the United States; he has been invited to read in France, Ireland and China, amongst other places; his poems have been translated into foreign languages including German, Greek and Chinese.
