No matter if they are warewolves, sidhe-seers, coyotes, or strays.....some books just have the rockingest female characters ever! ANd those men are not so bad themselves!!!

Celebrate the witty, informative, flawed, humorous, and fantastic females of

Mercy Thompson's series (Patricia Briggs)----> Duh! They are great!

MacKayla (Mac) Lane's series (start with Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning)----> the men can be a little cruel...but they are growing on me.

Faythe's series (Starts with Stray by Rachel Vinncent)---> you have got to love her man...he puts up with a lot!

Luna Wilder's series ( Night Life (Nocturne City, Bk 1) by Caitlin Kitterdge) ---> a pretty good series...though the first three top my list!!!

Wanna celebrate any other kick butt books? Ones where normal (or as normal as paranormal goes) start off as weaklings but show everyone what strength is really made of?

I would say the Kitty Norville books by Carrie Vaughn fit this perfectly.

Lilith Saintcrow's Jill Kismet series-- she's pretty flawed and she kicks some major butt
