I finally gave up on Phelps newest book ~Kill For Me~  He has had some real hits and some real misses for me and this one was a miss .  It seemed to drag on and on and on.  I want him to keep writing true crime books because he is one of the better writers of that genre but I read about 3/4 of this book and that was enough.

Nicky, where do you think Phelps missed the boat. Was it too detailed?

Hey Koren..I think once I found out what happened it seems to bog down and the story went on and on and I lost my interest in it. I kept it sitting on my desk for 2 weeks and I  had no interest in going back to finish it..so I sent it off to someone else.  I hope they like it better than I did.  I know sometimes it is just my mood and a book I'm bored with is liked by others.  Long books don't turn me off if they keep my interest.

I remember the first book he wrote and I thought it was fabulous and since then..I've liked a few and didn't care for a few but I do want him to keep writing and I will keep reading them.
