She looked forward to doing her own thing with peace and dignity - removed from the high jinks of her boisterous family.

How could she have guessed that the attractive senior editor would shirk his responsibilities? Or that the Chronicle would require such assertive action? It was all too confusing! Was she a shrinking violet or had she finally blossomed into a Killebrew daughter?
