Nancy Bush has been writing with Lisa Jackson very successfully. She should stick with it. As a solo writer, I was disappointed. The storyline was good, and had lots of promise, but it read like a soap opera. The heroine really irked me - what a helpless drama queen. And I couldn't figure out why the hero fell in love with her, and the author didn't explain it either. There was no clue to why they fell in bed together. I guessed who was the bad guy right away, so no surprises there. So I had to slog through the whole book because I cannot just stop midway & put it away (my bad, I know). All in all, I would not recommend this book.
