The one thing that I would be curious to know is that they say Kindle outsold paperbacks. I wonder if that includes the used section or only refers to new books.

It took me a minute to realize you were referring to Amazon sales, not eBooks vs real books over-all.  LOL

That was a real stunner there for a bit!

I think it probably will come to that eventually; all book sales, I mean, not just Amazon.  It will be interesting to see just how long that takes, here in the US.

Pat, it doesn't include the free Kindle books, according to an article I saw.

The other thing to keep in mind here is that it was the quarter ending December 31st. So all those people who got Kindles for Christmas went and bought a bunch of stuff in the last 3 days of December. It MAY not be representative of the constant state of their business, but holiday/new toy excitement driving those sales.
