Hello everyone

I have a Kindle 3 and I would like to print a page or two of a self-help book. anyone know if this is possible and how?

You cannot print directly from the Kindle. If you install Kindle for PC, you can use your computer's PrtSc key to get a screen shot of the page(s) you want. Paste them into Paint or Word or whatever and then print from there.

Alt+Shift+G takes a screenshot, I believe.  At least, that's what it was on the Kindle 2.  I just tried it on my K3 and the screen flashed for a second, so I'm sure it did something.  I can't connect it to a pc at the moment to verify the files are there though.

Once you have screenshots of the pages you want, you can connect it to a computer and print them.  They will be in .gif format.  I don't remember if it stores it in the root directory or the documents directory though.  It's been a long time since I used this trick.

It takes a pic of everything including your info bars at top and bottom.  You also won't be able to resize, format, select, or do anything of that nature to the text itself.  It'll just be an image.
