My mom is having a lot of problems with her K3 (Keyboard, wi-fi) constantly resetting. I had the same problem with mine several months ago and when I called Customer Support they did a factory reset wirelessly that reset my K3 to factory settings and I just reloaded all of my content. I haven't had any issues since then. I told my mom to do a factory reset, since I thought it could be done from the machine or from the computer, but we can't find any way to do this. She doesn't like talking to customer service reps and I don't have access to all of her passwords (nor do I want them). If I tell her to deregister and then re-register it, will this do the same as a factory reset? That was the only thing I could figure from the options available on the K3. |

Deregistering/reregistering doesn't reset it. I've the same K3. From the home screen, hit menu, then from the menu, hit the menu again. "Reset to Factory Defaults" is one of the options. If you have any of the parental controls turned on, the option will be greyed out. |
