Not the Prime library but actually local library borrowing. So I had 3 Kindle library books come up as my turn in the last 2 days. ONe is a 3 book bundle. No worries until my Kindle kicks the bucket. They are replacing it under the warranty. But I won't get it for a few days. My question is: if I don't accept the library book offers, does the library lose that lend anyway? I know they only have so many lends before they have to buy another copy. I woldn't think if I let the lend time out or delete it from my hold page that it wouldn't count. But if it does than I'll accept them and read them on my IPOD or laptop. |

This varies with the publisher. Some make limits, some don't. You would need to ask the person who does the eBooks at your library. And if they are part of a big group, your local staff might not know the policy details. |

From what I understand it's per check out, since you have not checked the book out, it does not count as a 'lend' BUT you may as well just read it on your Ipod with the kindle app, then you dont need to go to the back of the line due to canceling your turn. |
