I went to the store real fast on Sat. and had my new puppy with me,

I had gone to pets mart and got everything I needed, I thoiught.

I needed a rawhide. So I got two different kinds and a muffin for me.

Wouldn't you know it, I was short  $3.00, I told the checker to put one

back, this lady stopped and said 'how much do u need' I told her and she handed me

the $3.00 I tried to get a phone number to pay her, as I did have the money

only I had left my 20 at home. I told her 'Bless you' and I didn't think to tell her it was my Birthday.

I was Blessed all day Sat.

remember to pay it forward! Years ago I had my girls and husband on vacation. We were an hour from the motel. Where all of the extra food was.  They got hungry and there was no way we were going to get back to the motel before we could feed them.  We went to a fast food restraunt before you could use a credit card.  Ordered the food and discovered that we had no cash, remember we can't use the credit card and all of the travel credits were in two different suitcases in the motel.  I told them they would have to cancel our order and told our kids that they would have to eat to we got back to the motel.  Some guy gave us money to pay for the meal for all 4 of us. I offered to send him a check. He told me no don't worry about it.  Years later we were eating with my almost girls and a mom was trying to figure out if she could pay for a meal for her kids. I gave her money and paid it forward never forgetting what someone had done for me years later. My girls said mom you don't know that family how come you gave them money. I had the chance to tell the story and couldn't do it without tears in my eyes. The world would be a better place if we all helped each other out. JEan

It's stories like this that warm my heart and remind me that there are good people out there.  Sometimes we need reminders that not everyone is unwilling to help out a stranger when the help is needed.

I think people tend to forget times when they needed help and someone was there to lend a hand.  If we could all pay forward the blessings that were bestowed upon us, there would be a heck of a lot less hate and animosity in the world.
