Kinflicks
Author: Lisa Alther
Funny with the touchmark of acute, aching, poignant reality. The most marvelously described teens, adolescent mores and attitudes, sex and sensibilities since Salinger took us on Holden Caulfield's journey. Ginny is the classic outsider and her fine sense of the comic permits the novel to approach a kind of high seriousness.

I read this book years ago so I don't remember the story. But I do remember it was very well written and funny. I liked it a lot. It's a coming of age story in the 1960's. The copyright date is 1975. Here are some quotes from inside the book:"A book so continuously funny that its wisdom takes you by surprise". (Harpers) "Ginny's sexual adventures and misadventures are among the funniest ever recorded". (The New Yorker)"A talented comic novel...winning and moving...a rewarding reading experience!" (New York Times) "A wildly erotic, exuberantly funny masterpiece of storytelling..." (Saturday Review) Since this book was stored for over 10 years, the cover has several creases and the pages are yellow. But it's definitely readable and presentable.
